Irish Bouzouki Songs

The Irish bouzouki may be newer to Irish music, yet it has already forged an identity of its own. This book provides insight into its roots, history, and styles of its most notable players.

The bouzouki is an instrument with eight metal strings arranged into four pairs called courses, where two higher-pitched (treble) courses are tuned to the same note while its lower-pitched counterpart (bass) contains strings tuned an octave apart.
